My greatest achievement

My greatest achievement... Over my short life span i have many different little achievements that i could be proud of. I don't exactly know what my greastest achievement could be. Just because of the fact that i have had so many. But if it was anything, I think it would have something to do with tennis. Oh yes, wait now i remember. My greastest achievement actually occured right here at Gahanna Lincoln High School. Last year of course it was my first year. I was a very anxious freshman who knew nothing more than how to play tennis. ( I mean yeah of course i knew how to do other things, but this was one particular subject i could honestly say i knew quite well) I was really excited to start the school year off with tennis. Just because i had gone to all of my sisters games over the past 4-5 years. And i couldn't wait to get up there and show everyone what i got. On one of the first days of tryouts, the coach had specifically told all the freshman to not feel like anyone cares about them because the sophmores, juniors, and seniors had been here last year. So the coachs already had an idea of what their skills were. But little did they know that i had been playing since i was six, and could honestly say that i was pretty decent. I didn't really see that as an advantage over anyone. Because you should never underestimate anyone, no matter the circumstances. But on those first couple days of tryouts. I just played my heart out with each match and did the best that i could possibly do. Before you know it, the week was over and while many of the freshman were towards the bottom of the ladder. I was actually towards the top. Position number 2 to be exact. And i at first couldn't believe what had just happened and begun to think i was dreaming. But as i dodge a ball flying at about 25mph right at my face, i soon realized that this was no dream and i was facing reality. So long story short, i made varsity as a freshman and played the 2nd singles positioin all year. I was really excited to be on varsity but it became more exciting when i had become friends with all the top players. And along with the rest of the team too! That same year i had actually won my OCC title for the 2nd Singles. And i was even more excited after that happened. Because i just could not believe what had just happened. And i think that was ONE of my greatest achievements.
